There's an animal that's hard to describe

It's got fur and it's got perfect teeth and blue eyes

And it's got chemicals with complicated names

That travel up my nose and down to my thighs

I'd like to stroke it up and down

But it's blue eyes are looking round

For bigger mammals who've got horns and facial hair

Where does your thirst go

With no place at the watering hole

When all you wanted was to drink there?

Here in animal town

Go near the water and you might drown

Every day I get up

Feel like I'm ripped up in pieces

Like I'm lucky to get out alive

Make me an alien species

I wanna be an animal now

There's a mineral that's hard to describe

It gives you fur and gives you horns

Now I'm an animal cos it's just arrived

And I can roar and give the other mammals facial scares

And watch those perfect teeth and fur and legs and blue eyes

Sparkle by the water's edge under the moonlight
